'The Wanted Life' Season 1 Episode 3

The MMVAs were this Sunday and we at ANDPOP know that you were probably having an internal argument with yourself over whether you’d continue watching the MMVAs or change the channel to the third episode of The Wanted Life.  Lucky for you guys, my love for The Wanted trumps all else and I was sucked into yet another highly dramatic episode.  Here is what happened on this week’s episode.
The episode starts off sweetly with the boys visiting Ryan Seacrest in his new studio at the Sick Kids Hospital. After a brief interview with Ryan, the boys met the kids in the hospital and do a small performance. The entire thing is incredibly heart-warming and swoon-worthy
The drama kicks in when the boys start talking about what they want to do for their next Wanted World fan event. It starts out harmlessly enough with Nathan and Siva throwing out suggestions of paintballing and go carting.  Max throws out the idea of a BBQ at Casa De Wanted and that is when the ish starts to hit the fan.
Nathan and Jay seem to like the idea but Nareesha is quick to turn it down saying that it’s not a good idea. Siva agrees with Nareesha and says that it would be crossing a major line to have fans come into the house where they eat, sleep, and live. The conversation quickly gets heated as the conversation moves into the living room and Tom, Kelsey and even their security guard Big Kev jump on board with the BBQ idea. The whole thing gets escalated far too quickly, Siva throws out a name and everyone ends up storming off angry.  By this point, I’m sitting here at the edge of my seat asking myself, is that a no to the BBQ then?

We get a break from the drama of organizing fan events as we check in with Nathan’s vocal problems. Nano and Nathan have a rather hilarious conversation in the waiting room at the doctor’s office
Nathan finally sees the doctor who says he’s starting to improve but has to continue with voice rest and a restrictive diet. Watching this all go down really makes a girl feel horrible for the poor guy as he admits how scared he is and how devastated he’d be if this is the end of his career.
Now back to the fan event. The boys sit down as a band and Siva is flat out told that majority rules, you lose, sorry but not sorry.
You can’t escape that nagging feeling of jealousy as you watch the girls play games with the boys, eat some food and watch a small performance. One girl even manages to win seven minutes alone with any band member she wants which is every fan girl’s dream come to life. She chooses Jay and they head off to his room which immediately makes you think something is about to go down but don’t worry folks; it only ends in Jay exercising topless and really, who didn’t enjoy that?
So far The Wanted Life has been meeting our expectations and next week’s episode looks to be rather interesting. But three episodes in, I have to wonder: are is Siva and Nareesha going to fight every decision regarding the band? When the heck does Lindsay Lohan make her cameo? And who do I need to talk to in order to get seven minutes with Jay?
Until next week, folks.
